KOKEDAMA

Kokedama is a traditional Japanese garden art that combines the planting styles of bonsai and kusamono.

A ball of soil, covered with moss is used to contain a small ornamental plant. Making the ball of soil is an interesting and textural moment where participants learn about the different materials needed to make a moist substrate.

The following steps which consist in applying the moss and string around the ball also provide a great opportunity to practice or develop dexterity.

The final result will give to your home a touch of elegance or make an exotic yet personal gift.

Suitable for children and adults

Duration : Around 30 min
